Spa Saturday - Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque
I first discovered Queen Helene in my Grammie's medicine cabinet. I was about 8 or so and I remember thinking how cool it's going to be when I'm grown up enough to use it. I didn't think about Queen Helene till it was mentioned in an article as being one model's go to face saving secret to stay fresh during the hectic events of Fall Fashion week. I ran out to Ulta that day and picked up a bottle to try.
It really is all that and a bag of chips. And it will last you for ages too. You only need a gumball size amount to smooth over your face and neck. Wait 10-15 min then remove with warm water and a wash cloth. It will help dry up any spots you might have, help loosen/remove dirt from pores, shrink pores, and tighten skin. This mask will tighten as it dries so try to avoid talking otherwise you'll have crumble mask bits all over the place. The mint smell is a bit heady so if you have issues with scent I would uncap and take a whiff before purchase. Used 2-3 times a week as part of your regular face cleaning routine, this mask is a perfect addition to overall skin care and health.
Also this mask works great as a stand in Halloween mask when you realize you have forgotten to purchase one.
